Hornindalsvatnet Marathon is an annual competition organized by the athletics group of Hornindal Sports Club since 1992. Races are held in the distances of marathon, half marathon, 10 km, and mini marathon, in addition to a mini marathon – a non-timed fun run. The course runs through the area of Hornindal Sports Park and Grodås center, and all distances are nationally certified and measured. In 2024, the race will take place on Saturday, July 27.
